Support Programs
Supporting Students at All Levels
Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School serves a diverse population and has a vast regional outreach, attracting students with a broad spectrum of academic ability.
JPII support programs are available to all students. Our staff works hard to evaluate and place students in the appropriate level of classes and monitor them throughout their time at JPII.
Tutorial System
The tutorial system provides time during the school day for students to seek help from teachers, work with a study group, or have extra time to complete homework. Tutorial sessions may also be available by appointment.
Full-time Support
A full-time support teacher works closely with families, students, and content teachers to develop appropriate action plans for students who will benefit from additional resources. To learn more, see the Knights Success Program.
Hand in Hand Options
The Hand in Hand Options Program supports students with intellectual disabilities, providing them an opportunity to pursue our college preparatory program without intensive special education support. To learn more, see the Hand in Hand Options Program.
