Along with exploring our website, your family is invited to attend several events hosted by the JPII Admissions team that provide an inside view of our community life, programs, and mission. Applications are accepted through the Admissions Portal. 

It is best to apply during the "early action" process and complete the application process by November 15. By doing so, the incoming student will be able to choose courses in the early spring, which will increase the likelihood of getting the first choice in electives. 

Students in the "early action" group, will receive a letter in the mail from the Admissions Office before Christmas. All others who apply after the November deadline will receive their decisions in April 2025. 

*All steps must be completed first, including the admissions interview, before JPII can consider acceptance.

Students are placed into standard-level courses upon acceptance unless they choose to test for placement in higher-level courses. This process is facilitated by the Dean of Faculty and Instruction, department chairs, counselors, and the Student Support Team. 

Digital enrollment contracts will be mailed to families after receiving their acceptance letters. A non-refundable $300 registration fee is due with the returned signed enrollment contract. Assuming the student successfully completes their current school year, he or she is considered “enrolled” at JPII for the following school year after submission of the enrollment contract and registration fee. You will begin receiving monthly emails with updates about events and additional steps to take as a new JPII family.

An enrollment contract may be withdrawn up until April 1, 2025, forfeiting the registration fee. After April 1, 2025 by the terms of the contract, the penalty for withdrawal at any point is $4,000 except in the case of a family job transfer out of town.

JPII has a limited amount of financial aid to distribute to families with demonstrated need, which is determined by a third party (FACTS). A student must be accepted through the admissions process before the determination of need is established. Families may complete the financial aid application beginning November 1, 2023, at FACTS Tuition & Aid. The deadline for application is February 1, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year. In evaluating applicants, the Admissions team seeks students who wish to live out our mission and have the prerequisite skills to succeed in a college preparatory program. The evaluation includes an assessment of the student's prior academic record, teacher recommendations, an entrance exam, and a personal interview. A wide diversity of scholarly talent exists at JPII and is supported by different levels of academic offerings, as well as a Student Support Team.
