Fine Arts

Exploring Beauty in Fine Arts

We believe art is as essential as math, science, language, history, and literature. When students develop their visual and performing arts talents, it enhances their academic, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development.

Art is a dynamic, living characteristic of our culture. It transcends the boundaries of the Fine Art wing, finding expression in the harmonies of our Mass songs and the grace of our athletes' movements. It thrives in our classrooms, where students hone their critical thinking skills and explore their engineering talents.

"Artistic talent is a gift from God, and whoever discovers it in himself has a certain obligation: To know that he cannot waste this talent, but must develop it." - Pope Saint John Paul II

Fine Arts Tracks

We offer four fine art tracks: choral, instrumental, theatrical, and visual. Our program enables newcomers and experienced students serious about the arts to graduate with as many as eight art credits, preparing them for some of the best university art programs nationwide.

Facilities

Our performing arts facility includes the Ann and Monroe Carell Theatre, a multi-use performance space with 600 seats for all art performances, an oversized instrumental room, and individual rehearsal spaces. The visual arts studio provides ample room for 2D and 3D projects, and the choral classroom works perfectly for all choir groups.

"Society needs artists, just as it needs scientists, technicians, workers, professional people, witnesses of the faith, teachers, fathers and mothers, who ensure the growth of the person and the development of the community by means of that supreme art form which is the art of education." - Pope Saint John Paul II
