Theatre

Learning comes alive on the stage through play, humor, and laughter.

Theatre is more than acting, dancing, singing, and performing—theatre develops adaptability, confidence, teamwork, problem-solving, collaboration, creativity, time management, and other skills students will use for a lifetime.

A theatrical performance sparks emotions for the audience, drawing them into the story. Actors convey emotion through words, facial expressions, movements, and the power to emote feelings. Students behind the scenes are also counted on to cultivate emotions through set design, staging, lighting, sound, and costume.

From The Basics To Broadway

Through a variety of dynamic theatre courses, students learn every aspect of production, including set, sound, lighting, costume, and performance. Starting with the basics in middle school, students learn space, movement, theatre vocabulary, and how to effectively relate a story to an audience.
